"Waiting for Mom"

I've been doing alot of journaling and as I do this many concepts as
far as human struggle seems to be brought to my attention.I've been
doing research and finding overwhelming information about children's
lives in the Sudan. Many babies are abandoned or given up within the
first 30 days of birth do to their parents struggles and circumstances
that are far beyond the struggles we often have.I am humbled
by how much I am given without even realizing it,to whom much is
given, much is expected.I want to use what I have been given to give them a voice.

"I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you." John 14:18

Hey Brooke!
The new piece is a knock out! I love your bold use of color, and your composition is of course on point. The way you composed it makes them feel imprisoned. But those things aside I recently watched a documentary called "Invisible Children". It is about the children of Darfur. I do not know if you ever heard of it. When I watched the doc I felt the exact same way you did. It is some powerful stuff.

peace-
Dustin
